Turn off Nemesis?

Well, on paper it sounds like a cool feature, but in practice, it kinda sucks. I've been hit with a nemesis twice now, and both times it toasted me quickly. Is there a way to turn the feature off? Or what is the best way to get out of it when those horns
start to blow?

It's also worth checking your TV settings, I recently purchased a Samsung ES8000 TV and for about a week my wife would call me at work saying the TV kept turning itself off, turned out there is a setting on the TV that turns it off when no interaction is
received from the user after a set period of time such as changing channel/input source etc.

So I just bought mien Xbox one S last week and so far I am having two problems.

the first one is while playing on it and it just Turn off alone without restarting.

the second one while playing Fifa for example it can sometimes just start to lagging for some moments and then go back to normal

they oth happend like once a day or twice, not that much but it's less than one week !!

 

Please excuse my noobness, but what is a nemesis?

 

While Ive only seen 1 nemesis and I made short work of him(playing on normal my first run), I can see this being troublesome later on. You could defriend anyone who has the game lol.

In all seriousness, act like ali, stick and move(roll). The one I took down didnt get a hit off.

 

I love this feature. It makes the game exciting INO. Both times one came into my game I killed them both. I can't wait for more to show up.

 

I've fought 2 so far on hard difficulty. The 1st one wiped me out pretty quick, but I beat the second one. I did alot of rolling around, and since my character is a crusader, i had my phalanx shooting their arrows as often as wrath would allow, as well as
hitting it with everything else. It'll go down eventually, if you keep moving(NEVER stand still), and use all your powers. Do that, and you'll be fine.

And yes Runex, it is troublesome, at least on a higher difficulty anyway

 

i read the Nemesis evolves if you didn't killed him because he killed you OR he escaped throu a Portal. So it is possible to fight a Level one Nemesis, or tough luck, Level 5.

imho if you can't kill him... Keep on runnin' and rollin'

Thanks for the Bing tetra! I took out another one. This fight was a pain though. The Nemesis showed up when i was already fighting a big group of demons. I got surrounded! Luckily, my phalanx bailed me out!

The only way to turn off the "Nemesis" system is to remove the person who created the Nemesis from your Friend's List, sorry

I'm not sure that would work. I've fought the Nemesis 8 times but it didn't come from another player's game. Below it's name it shows a face of the last player it killed, which was me. I've killed it 6 times but it never drops any loot, or anything good.
As I understand it if you kill it after it kills someone from your friends list you get some prize. Plus I've looked at most of the people on my friends list and nobody has Diablo on Xbox One, so I'm pretty sure the Nemesis is spawning just in my game. I
could be completely wrong thou. I don't know how to stop the Nemesis from coming into the game, sorry.

I only play Diablo 3 Classic and my answer was based on the information that the Nemesis only invades those that are on your Friend's List.

The prize the nemesis drops is for the friend who it killed before invading your game. I guess since you have no friends playing Diablo you get no prize since it is your own Nemesis with no prize.

On a side note I'm at level 55 with a wizard and have no problems with the Nemesis' that pop into my game now and I'm on expert difficulty. I actually killed one just by activating Archon with the combustion rune active, It was very anti climatic. The Nemesis
battles started off hard but have become pretty easy now, it is a little disappointing.

 

My damn nephew died in our co op like 8 times and I think we saw as many Nemesises or is it Nemeses.... I made short work of them as I was leveled up to 65 (now 12 paragon) with my wizard... they are a pain but add a bit more randomness... nice to know that
