Trying to use my xbox one offline

I have a xbox live gamertag but I want to use it offline. I try to play my game and it wants me to sign in to xbox live but my Internet is out for a while so how can I just play offline and still save on my gamertag account?

I am trying to log into a games domain to create something, basically my Xbox email was synced a couple weeks ago with an old email and it synced it to a gamer tag on my Xbox that is not the one I use on Xbox live, I can't figure out where to change my default
gamer tag vs. this offline one I created for my nephew... bottom line is when I log into something (bungee.net) it's rewards want to go to the offline gamer tag

If we're understanding correctly. Are you trying to access your Xbox 360 save file while disconnected from Xbox Live and unable to do this? Or are you unable to use your Xbox 360 save at all?

The way save files work in Backward Compatible is that they are stored on the cloud so that when you are connected to Xbox Live either on your own console or another. You'll be able to access that save file later. You can use this save file offline. In order
to do that though, you will need to put your console into Offline Mode.

Here are the steps to do that.
Use Xbox One Offline

 

Load up settings on your Xbox, click Network, then Go Offline. It will set your console into Offline Mode. You should be set from there.
