    Trying to Upgrade


    I've been trying to upgrade to premium. I have updated my information, but it keeps telling me to put in a payment method. When I click to do it, it then sends me to account, where it will not open, keeps giving me an error message about me not being connected
    to the internet. This is soooo annoying! Anyone else have this problem, and is there any way to fix it?

    There are three email addresses in the Xbox system for every account.

    A) The Microsoft Account, also known as the Windows Live ID, which is used to sign in at websites and download the profile to the Xbox. If that's wrong, you can keep using it until you have time to contact Xbox Support
    support.xbox.com/contact-us for help with your account. You can change that at
    account.live.com/summarypage.aspx by selecting Rename Account.

    B) The alternate email address which is where password reset messages are sent. You can see that at
    account.live.com/summarypage.aspx and change that by selecting Edit Security Info

    C) The billing contact email address where billing statements are sent to. You can see and change that at
    http://xbox.com/accounts by choosing Billing Contact Information

    B & C can be the same. Ideally, A should not be B or C but that often happens.

    To get the free one month trial, A) must be brand new and never had Xbox Live before.

    suprise suprise there is an offer on my xbox live for a free month of upgrade to gold when i try i get "there is a problem with xbox service try again later" status code 80070057 i have been trying every day for a week

    Upgrades in general were free, only a few were sold as different versions and it is believed that if there was a purchase of a new generation console it was to use the upgrades, that's why Microsoft suggests this way, updates are to update, upgrade to a new one experience, unfortunately there is no way not to notify this type of information.

    So now I bought a broken piece of equipment and have to wait for repairs on a new item, or will MS send me a new console?

    I don't want a repaired item, I bought a new item.

    HOW LONG will this take to get it back and fourth / swap out consoles?

    I did pay for the two year extended warranty from Game Stop but from what I hear I can only use that once to receive it in 48hrs.

    So I don't want to burn that bridge right now and lose my extra year.
