    Trying to update my xbox, and failing.


    Hi. As you guys know, a new update came out for the insiders today but I'm currently having issues updating to it. I tried to do the regular method of updating in the system settings but that just failed after getting to the verifying stage. At that point, after reading around on this subreddit, I went to factory reset my console because I don't have access to a windows PC which I could use to remove myself from the insider hub. That didn't work either, unfortunately. So now I'm stuck with this 570mb update which I can't do. I even tried downloading the OSU1 file and installing that through the offline method but once again, that doesn't work and I get the error code: E101 00000504 8B050041.

    At this point I've tried everything lmao and I've been here for almost 2 hours trying to sort this out.

    I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

    Hi there PurseDragon123,

    Thanks for the update on the issue with the failed update. If the issue persists with the failed update, try this: Xbox One System Update Solution
    and click on Update My Console Offline.

    Give this a try and let us know the results.

    MY Xbox will not even manual update!

    try the following

    settings, gaming, xbox networking, click check and it will probably fail toredo, click fix and check again then it should pass then try gaming online.

    if that fails make sure all windows updates are completed and all the updates from the microsoft store too.
