Discus and support trying to update Kinect on 360 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I keep getting this error when trying to update the 360 to be able to use the Kinect. 4467-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185 .     trying to update Kinect on 360


    I keep getting this error when trying to update the 360 to be able to use the Kinect.

    4467-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185 . I've looked in the side compartment and there is no external hard drive. i have connection to wifi. I've tried to update via flash drive as well. I've cleared the cache. disconnected, turned off and tried again. What
    is the problem??????????

    i am trying to update the kinect with the 360 and keep getting this error.

    4467-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185
    I have tried updating via flash drive...same error. disconnected and rebooted, same error. there is no external hard drive. Why will not update?? i have verified wifi and connection to xbox live. but it prompts to update or we won't have access to xbox
    live. we only need to update the kinect....... what's going on? there's plenty of memory, i've cleared the cache, deleted corrupt files.....

    Thank you for keeping us updated. We recommend making sure the Xbox 360 Kinect is up to date. The article entitled

    Kinect Setup on Xbox 360     will explain how to update the Kinect. If the Kinect is still not functioning correctly after updating it, the Kinect may need to be replaced. Be sure to let us know the results!

    To help clarify the issue:

    • What console are you using?
    • Have you checked for a system update and Kinect update?

    So you can download the update onto a memory stick or device capable of storage or through xbox live, here is a list of options you can try to fix the kinect issue that you are having.

    kinect updates are part of system updates for the 360 so make sure your xbox 360 is uodating correctly.
