Trying to update game and virus alert

I just got an update at the store, but when I started to download it, my Avast antivirus got an alert.

I stopped the process and started again, the alarm appeared again

Malware is Win32:Evo-gen [susp] at Jigsaw.exe

Anyone else got a problem like this?

Microsoft has gotten a viruses and there are trying rid of the 5000 viruses. they think cause by sponge software. that soak up these viruses

im trying to play NFS Undercover. it says i need an update. im trying to update it but i cant. i tested the internet and i got a service alert. how long will it take to fix this? email me at

Lots of people do, unfortunately, and not just with our games. Star Citizen was also reported as affected by this false positive bug: star citizen patch 12.5 disaster

Avast is aware of the issue and hopefully will be issuing some virus definitions updates soon that will fix this. This happens occasionally with all the anti-virus providers- we've seen it in the past from Norton and Symantec as well. They usually get the
false positives cleared up within a week or so.

 

I did a quick search, and it appears as if there have been false errors with other games when running Avast as well.

We do not know when this issue will be resolved. Please contact Avast for more information.

 

The same night this occured I uninstalled the game, did a scan for viruses by Avast and Malwarebytes, nothing found

When I reinstalled the game, no warning anymore
