    I recently got a 250GB xbox slim because my original white xbox died completely (red rings, for the 6th time). I want to transfer my old memory onto the new device. I purchased the official xbox transfer cable and it would be easy if my xbox would turn on
    enough so I could get to the dashboard. Obviously I can't do this because the older xbox is dead. How do I transfer without having the old xbox on?

    can you transfer game data from xbox 360 to the xbox one?

    ive been trying to transfer all week i don't know how it wont work im trying to transfer my burnout paradise data to the Xbox one it wont work

    Something else to try is power the xbox off, remove the hard drive you're transferring the data from, connect the data transfer cable to the xbox and power on, once the xbox reaches the dashboard connect the hard drive you're transferring the data from to
    the data transfer cable.

    -

    If you are asked at all to configure the hard drive do not proceed any further, third party cables will wipe all the data and make the drives useless as xbox hard drives.
