trying to set up my sons xboxlive account

I have an xboxlive account on our 360 console and bought my son a 3 month xboxlive subscription and when we try to sign him up it says this account is already associated with another profile, Does he need to join with a different email address and password?
or/ any help would be great thanks

I've upgraded to GOLD now as thats the obvious reason i coulcnt use xbox live on my console or so i thought. I've set up on my laptop an xboxlive account for my son.....Is anyone able to help explain how I npw go to the console and use xboxlive? I selected
my sons profile and gone to select multiplayer (blackopsCOD) and it says no xboxlive profiles found. PLEASE HELP

 

Using two consoles sharing xbox live at the same time??

Hi all,

have just purchased another xbox one s for my other son. First son has xbox live account.

Whenever oneson logs onto xboxlive it logs the other one out, I've got the first console set to home. I've set the second son onto my account under a new username.

What am I doing wrong or is it possible for them to use xbox live at the same time using the one account or do I need to set up an completely new xbox account on the new console.

I would recommend you do so to prevent any issues

 

The e-mail address you are trying to sign up with is already associated with another gamertag. If you create another e-mail address, you should have no problem signing him up.

but what if my daughter has the same email address as me because she is a child

 

although the problem for me seems to be with xbox as it fails when I try to buy the account says unable to purchase at this time try later
