trying to send Xbox one to a 2nd screen

I currently have an Xbox one X in our 'media room' & its connected to our home's hard wired ethernet network. All works good. Instead of constantly moving it, I am trying to send this Xbox One X's HDMI video output to a spare bedroom that is on the same
floor and down the hall (about 30-40ft away).

I have tested the Xbox one X wireless controller and it reaches fine to this spare bedroom. Therefore, I just need to figure out a way to send the video display as well.

Like I mentioned before, most of my home has hard wired ethernet jacks (with numerous 8 port switches for distributing the signal). I have a one story ranch with a basement and can easily run some Cat5 to this spare bedroom if needed & maybe use this to
send the Xbox's HDMI display. Also, both rooms actually have unused coaxial jack. One is in the exact area where I plan to mount a 40" HDTV for this project

So, my questions are basically this. Which of the following would be the better choice to use for sending the Xbox's HDMI output:

The coaxial wiring (with some sort of adapter)

a wireless device (If so, what are some inexpensive solutions that work very good for up to about 50 ft?)

wired Cat5/ethernet home network (with an adapter & through about 3 switches)

To be quite honest since the product listed isn't a first party device then we wouldn't be able to guarantee it would work. Give it a shot and be sure to let us know the results!

OK, I guess I should have clarified more. While the room is about 30-40ft away, running a direct HDMI cable is not an option as this would basically sit in the hallway between the rooms. This won't be ideal as it wouldn't look good and too much foot traffic.

Therefore, I am looking for another way to get the HDMI signal to this room and it HAS to be one of the alternative options; Coaxial, wireless or Cat5 network.

I'll look into some HDMI mirror dongles as suggestions, I also saw this that could possibly do it:

Again, it can't be a point-to-point options. Any other recommendations?

Hey Mfranch thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

The only way to have a video output on the console is through the HDMI port so in short the best would be to get a 40+ foot HDMI cable to connect from the console to the tv. Hope this helps but let us know how it goes!

Definitely need a signal splitter which are inexpensive to make it easier than switching back and forth.

Ideally run a cable. However, there are HDMI mirror dongles on the market that could work over wifi as well. You would have to test it though.

Im having exact same problem! I have traded my kinect in as i hate it and with all these new updates focused on kinect my xbox plays up! Im still on green screen! Apparently i have to send it off and wait 7-10 weeks for a new one which is a load of *** when
the xbox one has warranty and also this is my 2nd console for xbox one!
