Trying to reset my console

hey, ive tried resetting my console multiple times followed all instructions and tried using the usb too. but i have to luck. now that i try updating with the usb it just says something went wrong and thats what it has been saying for the last 4 days

If you've already tried a USB reset and it still doesn't work, it could mean your console is experiencing a hardware issue. If your console is an Xbox Series, you can send it to a Microsoft repair center.

Submit an request at this link:

There you will see your registered devices, select the device that presents the problem and select "Next", fill in the necessary data and you will be able to create your order.

If you have an older console like the Xbox One or Xbox 360, you'll need to seek out third-party technical support in your area, as the service center unfortunately doesn't support those console models.

Your gold would be tied to your account, not the console. So even if the console was reset, you would not lose your gold unless you were sharing gold with someone else and they changed Home console.

Hi there. I would try resetting your console. Go to Settings, System, Console info & updates, Reset console to do this. I would try the Reset and keep my games & apps option first.
