Trying to request a refund

Hello Stossel,

IF you are unable to fill it out, you can request a call from support. Have them guide you through the process. You can also try the form on your phone.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
• Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
• Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips (don't select anything here)
  
• Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

That's definately strange that support said that they couldn't refund you for a double charge.

Did you try requesting a refund threw this 'Request refund' Xbox Support link?

You can try requesting a refund by going to the order page at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders then locating the game. There may be an option to request a refund.

If not you can submit a request here. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-refund

There's not a direct number to refund support. You have to submit a refund request. You can try replying to the email you received denying the requests to contact the refund specialists.
