trying to remove my credit card

cant remove my card from my account until i cancel my auto renewal. on the last step of canceling my auto renewal i 'find a glitch in the system' and it will not go through. i've been fighting with this for over an hour and it seems unnecessarily difficult.
to remove my card has zero potential of doing me harm, but if someone hacked my account and wanted to buy 1000000000 dollars of items on my account there would be no need for authorization. this seems to be the opposite of protecting the customer. i give xbox
a 1 for customer service based on this and other poor experiences

Sorry to hear you're having issues with turning off your auto renewal. If the website does not allow this then please call phone support as they can turn it off for you.

If you want to remove a credit card from a xbox live account, try going to billing.microsoft.com and try removing your credit card from there.

Oh, and 1more thing, is it possible to add new credit card in Microsoft Billing and Account Managment page? If it so how? I could try to add my credit card there, meybe it would work. If no, is there a way how to cofigure removed credit card? On that page
my credit card is in (removed) option, meybe its that problem, you can't add same credit card anymore once deleted? Thanks.
