Trying to redeem codes and download games.

I bought an Xbox One and it came with a digital download of Fallout 3. I entered the code and it said:

"Something went wrong Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate."

After many more tries, I meet the same error message. The only thing that resembles a code or anything appears at the very bottom right as:

"Purchase-Entitlement-1025 14b03db4-b702-42b3-8cd0-66240af80946 2015/12/29 - 18:54:49 UTC"

Does anybody know what this means or what I can do?

Also, I get the same Error message when trying to download apps I all ready owned on Xbox 360 such as Neflix and YouTube. I click download and it asks me to confirm. I click yes. It says something went wrong. So I am pretty sure its on all downloads.

Please help, I just want to play some games.

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

How to Redeem a Code on Xbox One - QR Code or 25 Character Code

Hey guys! Okay, so you need to figure out how to redeem codes on the Xbox One? Well, there are a few ways of doing this.

1.

Login to Xbox.com (top right hand side)

In the top bar, mouse over Xbox Live Gold

You'll see 'Redeem Code' in the drop down list

Click 'Redeem' and enter your 25 digit code!

If your code is a game or DLC, it will automatically start downloading once you login to your Xbox, unless you have your Xbox in standby, which will allow it to download right away!

From the main page of the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the right to the 'Games' section and select that section -or- If your Kinect is connected, say "Xbox, Use a Code"

If you have a QR code (that square looking code thing), you can hold it up to your Kinect to redeem it.

If you have a 25 digit code, in the lower left of the screen, you have the option to "enter the 25-character code." Click that and enter your code. Confirm your code and you're all set!

Your item will automatically download. Enjoy!

Normally, this could be an account issue or console issue related to your network. You may try deleting and re-downloading the profile from the console and then restart your console along with your router. Doing so will refresh your connection. If same issue,
you may need to directly contact Xbox Support for further assistance.

So you redeemed the code to download the game? Did you redeem it on the account you are trying to play on?

Gold is not required to download games. If you redeemed the code, the game should have automatically started downloading on your console. If not, try checking your download history to see if the game is listed there and try starting the download from there

If the game is not listed there, you may want to try redeeming the code again. If it says it's already been redeemed, you'll need to try contacting support.

Now that the game is available if you redeemed the code the game will be yours to install. If not try finding that message and redeeming the code(if it hasn't expired)or you can still enjoy the game with game pass. I downloaded my copy yesterday with no
problems!
