    Trying to redeem 12 month gold card, but I get error code 801613C9


    My membership expires tomorrow and I've been trying to redeem the card ever since it was bought for me yesterday. I went to the error code checker thing, I already followed the

    instructions
    , and it still didn't fix my issue. I also tried redeeming it on this site, and it still didn't work. I especially love how the article for that error code says that if you get that error code, it means that the prepaid code you have was already
    redeemed(which makes no sense, because it was bought for me YESTERDAY, and I scratched the back part off YESTERDAY).

    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    There has been an issue lately where the system has been saying the code could not be redeemed but it actually was.

    Check the link below to see when your current membership runs out. If the code was successfully redeemed and your purchased a 12 month code then you should see a renewal date of 2015.

    cant redeem points code!!!

    I'm having trouble redeeming Xbox Live Gold 12 months. Returns the code: 801613c9. I've tried with 2 Xbox Live Gold Pre-Paid and did not work, always returns the same error.

    That error code means that the code has already been redeemed. Try Testing your Connection to see if it was applied to your account or not. If not, you are going to have to take it back to the retailer.
