Trying to recover old xbox gamertag without email

For us to start an account recovery, it's required that we know exactly the correct email address of the account. Without it, we cannot start the account recovery and if we just try to guess it, we may not recover the correct account.

You may try to review your emails or email history if you could find traces of your old email address.

You could try to recover your account as well by entering your gamertag or phone number that might have been linked to your old account through this link https://account.live.com/username/recover

There is no way you would have been able to remove the email from the account without adding a new one to the account.

If your not sure what email is on the account you can get ahold of xbox support by going to support.xbox.com and if they can verify ownership of the account then they can tell you what email is associated with the gamertag.

Or you can try the old email and go to account.live.com/acsr and try and recover the account.

here to try to recover your account?

Yes I have. The email that I originally used I believe no longer exists as it's been a long while since i have used it. When i go to try to sign into it, I'm told the email account can't be found/ doesn't exist. I know for a fact
the email address is correct but I'm not able to sign in nor attempt to change the password to it.

you should be able to recover the old gamertag with either the name or your email and just use the old one
