Trying to recover old gamertag.

So i've been away from Xbox for a few years and now I'm going to be picking up a new One X here shortly. I tried to recover my old gametag, which I can find using a friend's xbox, but the email that it was tied to is no longer available. I created a new
one with my current Microsoft account but would there be anyway of restoring or transferring the achievements to the new account?

Trying to recover old xbox gamertag without email

I Just got a new xbox one. I would like to recover my old xbox gamertag. I can still access it on my old xbox, however the email for that gamertag has been lost years ago. I have no way of recovering this email. However i still have the only xbox this gamer
tag has logged in with. Also i haven't been an active xbox live user since 2010. Is it still possible for me to recover my old gamertag?

Have you tried the "customer support" option? That will have you fill out questions about the windows live id to go to that team. They will check your submissions and either issue a password reset or not.

Unfortunately, the Windows LIVE team is the only group that can reset your password.

Have you gone through all the steps listed

Yes I have. The email that I originally used I believe no longer exists as it's been a long while since i have used it. When i go to try to sign into it, I'm told the email account can't be found/ doesn't exist. I know for a fact
the email address is correct but I'm not able to sign in nor attempt to change the password to it.

Hey,

I see that you're having trouble redownloading your profile levass4, I suggest you go to: http://microsoft.com , log in with credentials for levass4 and go here : https://account.microsoft.com/devices?fref=home.banner.devices&refd=account.microsoft.com

You'll be able to see which devices your account is logged on and you can remove the account from those devices and log in on your Xbox.

I tried what you said but levass4 is not one of the options to add. When I click on add new and add levass4 it says it's already in use.

Are you able to pull up my email *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and delete the Whirlwind and add levass4 on our profile?
