    Back in 2012, I left console for PC and now that I'm back on console, I want to recover my account. The GT on the account is RamboUnchained. I was a small time youtuber and twitch streamer and there are multiple people that can verify my identity. I just
    got an XB1 but I still have the 360 console that I last used to play games on, but the email associated with it is no longer active since I don't have my old phone number for verification and the credit card on the account has LONG been cut up considering
    it expired in 2014. There's no way I can remember the number for it. I know I'm getting my verification question right since I use the same answers all the time (security risk, I know). Although I have the console ID, I cannot recover my account. I tried calling
    but was put on hold for what felt like an eternity. I just want my old gamertag back.

    Trying to recover old account

    Have you tried the "customer support" option? That will have you fill out questions about the windows live id to go to that team. They will check your submissions and either issue a password reset or not.

    Unfortunately, the Windows LIVE team is the only group that can reset your password.

    Greetings,

    I'm trying to recover an old acct. that I created about 3+ yrs. ago. GT-Chaddap (email associated with that account is
    [mod removed]). I did contact support and they said that the WLID needs to have an valid email. Unfortunately that email has expired. I tried resetting password but get an error stating that the option is unavailable due to too many incorrect
    answers(security question). I would like to know If I am able to recover the acct. and if so, what do I need to do since I am unable to receive any emails, or answer security questions from that acct. Thank you for your time.

    Hello ! So basically I have the same problem and I’m trying to recover my old account and the number in my old account is wrong so basically I pressed the button (I don’t have any of these) and I tried to answer all the questions, but my device is blocked and I cannot login into my old account, but the problem that my email with this old account is working but say there is no option that I can recover my password from the mail that I’m using it on my old account so yeah basically I want to recover my old account but I cannot because the number there I s wrong and I really need to recover my account and again my email which is the old account. Like I’m trying to recover my old Microsoft account on my email, but there is no recover button or like a reset the password from the mail

    That's understandable. But is there any way i can see the full emails from when i look up emails linked to this account? when i try doing a recovery on my email it shows like 9+ emails the I cannot recall what the full email is.
