Trying to record xbox game pass games with shadowplay

Hi there Gucci welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. The games in Game Pass, despite having the same names as the Steam version, are a completely different program, they're written in a different way, compiled in a different way, and work in a different way. They're not the same game thus the reason for them to not be supported.

I had no idea such thing existed. I actually tried the ShadowPlay and it worked with recording at full resolution! Greatly appreciated.

Its strange that Game Bar isn't working the way its supposed to but hey, ShadowPlay seems to be alot nicer.

just enable a hotkey for recording and then you don't need to bring up game bar, or better still if you have a nvidia card then use shadowplay which is far superior for recording with or even obs.

if i was you a full re install should fix it but i wouldnt bother, using shadowplay is more efficient, better quality and outputs a perfectly stable 60fps capture, download shadowplay and just set a hotkey for manual record and capture the last.
