    Getting error 0x8020002e while installing

    Hello Venky2804,

    Please try installing the game one more time, but before you do, press the Windows Key+R and type wsreset.exe in the dialog box that opens and then press Enter. After this short program runs, re-open the Windows Store app and try installing the game again.

    If for some reason you get the same error or a different error, please try installing and playing Shuffle Party as this game's error codes may help us to figure out what's going wrong.

    If above doesn't work, can you try reinstalling gaming services on your PC?

    - Launch powershell as an administrator and enter

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    - In the same powershell window, enter

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    - Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.

    - Try installing the game again.

    When exactly are you getting the error and what are you using the Xbox console or on a PC? If anything, if it's a separate app you can try to uninstall and re-install the app. This may help https://support.xbox.com/xbox-on-windows/social/troubleshoot-game-dvr-windows-10

    Thanks for keeping us updated. Are the steps that you performed these steps here?

    • Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”
    • In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”
    • Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.
    • Try installing the game again.

    Try starting from the second bullet point again to get it reinstalled. If this doesn't help, then you should try contacting windows support to see if they can help you re-install Gaming services through powershell.

    FH5 crashes on launch with the error code 0x800701b1

    1. reset the App FH5 and xbox

    2. repair FH5 over the xbox app

    4. re-install FH 5 over the xbox app

    5. checked Windows Updates, all the latest updates are installed.

    6. uninstalled XBOX Gaming Service and reinstall, didnt help

    7. Windows Store checked updates

    8. reinstalled xbox app.

    8 re installed Forza Horizon 5

    nothing helped.

    Still Error Code 0x800701b1
