trying to re friend a blocked friend

I accidently blocked a good friend of mine trying to reply to a text message on 360 and due to the laggy servers I hit block and now even though I have unblocked him we cannot see or receive each others friends request this is pretty aggravating and we
both would like this issue resolved ASAP.!!!!!!!!

Can't voice chat friend after unblocking them.

Hi,

I had a misunderstanding with a friend the other night and I blocked them. Since then we've worked things out and I've unblocked them and re-added them as a friend. However we can't hear each other through voice chat. We play gta online together and we're
in the same crew, our game chat is set to crew and friends and I made sure to unmute them as well. Even after restarting my console and removing them as a friend and re-adding them again, I can't talk to them. In party chat it says they're still blocked, even
though they're on my friends list again.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How to unblock someone on your xbox one

go to 'my profile'

Then 'following' (will depend if that person was following you or not)

Go down to where is says 'everything' and change it to 'blocked'

That was how I was able to re-add a friend who was blocked.

Hello, try sending him a message that will revoke your block

The way the blocking works is this

Adding someone and it remains "Send Friend Request" after attempting to add means the other person has you blocked. I advise if he accidently blocked you too, try getting him to send an outbound message to you which will revoke the block on his end also.

Once all blocks are off you should then be able to re-add each other. If there is any active outages which can slow down stuff like this similar to recent outages that is subject to

I'm not sure if Blocking someone removes them as a "Favorite" which is what triggers seeing someone sign in. Perhaps unblock them, remove them as a favorite and then re block them?

Only way to do that would be to unblock, add as a friend, add as favorite then remove from favo

rite. Blocking removes them from friends list. If they aren't on your friend list they aren't a favorite. Try again.🤷‍♂️

I only suggested it as I blocked a friend by accident and unblocked him straight away, we had to re add each other as friends.

Your friend may not want to admit it.

If you don’t want to receive communications from a specific player on Xbox One, you can block that player. Do this by selecting the player’s gamertag from within the game and blocking the player. If the person is no longer playing the game, you can search
and block the person through the Profile app.

The block only applies to communications such as messaging. The blocked player will not be able to send you messages, unless you first send a message to that player. However, a blocked player can still join games with you.
