Trying to purchase Minecraft: windows 10 edition Beta.

Trying to purchase Minecraft: windows 10 edition Beta. I go to the store click on the purchase button and it take me to the enter password window with my correct email. and I enter the password and I get an error. "Give it another try, something went
wrong" I have been trying to buy for the last 2 days. I have it for my xbox one I just recently download onto my computer. all my info in correct and payment type is current. I have no idea why it will not go though.

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

Hi

Have you tried clearing the Windows Store cache?

To do this: Hold-down Windows key and press R, type "wsreset.exe" (without quotes) in the box which appears, and press Enter. Restart your PC, then try the purchase again. Hope that helps.

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

I believe Brad was referring to the Java edition but his point was that the beta does not give you access to the full version of the Windows 10 edition and it will need to be bought separately. Back then you could download the Windows 10 edition for free
if you had the PC (Java) edition when the full version of the Windows 10 edition released. I'm not sure that is the case now.

The only information I found regarding a Minecraft Windows 10 beta was an actual beta released in 2015 to test the Windows 10 edition before the full version released. This beta was separate and had to be downloaded from the Store and does not seem to be
a part of the full version of the game, which would need to be purchased separately.

Do you have confirmation you have purchased the full version of Minecraft Windows 10 edition? Check you order history to make sure:
