Trying to play RDR on Xbox One, unable to sign in to xbox live...

I bought Red Dead Redemption and downloaded it from Xbox Live store on my Xbox One.

But when I start the game it tells me to sign in to Xbox Live to download a user profile. When I select "next",

it says "cannot connect to xbox live, check your settings" and when I do that, it says everything is ok!

The one thing i havent tried yet is factory reset, is that the way to go?

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

I see you mentioned you've tried some steps but I find that clearing your Xbox 360 local storage on your Xbox One console often gets overlooked. How to do that:

*Open the Guide menu

*Scroll down to Settings

*Select All Settings

*Scroll down to System

*Navigate over to Storage

*Select 'Clear local Xbox 360 storage'



Give that a shot and let us know how it goes.

I followed your steps, but still the same problem...

When RDR starts:

"Please sign in"

"0 profiles"

"Download profile"

and then: "cant connect to xbox live, please check your settings"...
