Trying to play Minecraft with my son

I'm just trying to play Minecraft with my 10-year-old son on his iPad and my iPhone. They made me sign up for Xbox live and now we can't connect at all. At all. At all. Everything I have tried to change privacy settings, this setting, that setting, it
all leads back to some security code to a text message or an email… And it's all just one complicated disaster and nothing works. How do I just play Minecraft with my 10-year-old son? Please help me.

You can try the following:
1: Delete local saved games and try to reinstall the game
Remove the disco from the console.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Storage.
Select Delete Locally Saved Games.

Note Selecting this option will not delete games and progress saved in the Xbox Live cloud. Only locally saved data will be deleted.

Select Yes to confirm the operation.
Once the console has restarted, try installing the game again.
If this solution doesn't work, try the next one.

Solution 2: Disconnect the console from the network and install the game

To resolve the issue, disconnect your console from the Internet, cancel the download, and turn your console off and on again. When you install the game successfully, reconnect the console to the Internet and let the update download.

Step 1: Use your console offline

Follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings, then Red.
Select Network Settings and then Disconnect.
Step 2: Cancel the download

Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select My games & apps.
Select Queued.
Highlight the game you're trying to install and press the Menu button on your controller.
Select Cancel.
Step 3: Take out the game disc and turn the console off and on again

Take out the game disc.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > Power and startup > Shut down or restart > Restart now, then select Yes to confirm.
Note If you can't access the guide or if your console appears to be locked, press and hold the Xbox button on your console for about 10 seconds until it turns off. Once the console is turned off, press the Xbox button again to restart it.

Step 4: Install the game

Once the console has rebooted, insert the disco. Follow the steps to install the game.

Note Be sure to do this before reconnecting to the Internet.

Step 5: Connect the console to the Internet and let the game update install

Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select My games & apps.
Select System > Settings, then Red.
Select Network Settings and then Connect.
