trying to install games from microsoft store gives error 0x800700B7

ive updated windows, twice, ive got gamepass, yet every single game i try to install regardless of the drive downloads for a second then gives this error.

i want this service, and i want to pay for it, but as for now its garbage.

There was an alert out earlier of not being able to use the store, as it was being updated at the time.

im not able to install the xbox beta app, i get the same error

That issue happened to me when i mistakenly didn't have the xbox app installed. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-windows/getting-started/get-xbox-app

This should be able to help with the issue.

Yes when I launch the game, it will launch the games start screen for 5 seconds then pop the error code. Gives the 0x800700b7 when Fall Guys is installed to the internal SSD and also when it’s installed to the Expansion Card

I was able to uninstall the Xbox app, but it gives me the same error when trying to install games, even from the Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox app.
