    Hello,

I created an outlook email and xbox account which signs on with the xbox one but when I go to sign up for rewards it tells me that I can not sign up because I don't have an xbox live account. Thanks for any assistance!

    :)

ya the people (too lazy to try to make an up arrow so just pretend one is here) pretty much covered it what i will add dark souls does not give you better weapons as you go along (yes there are exceptions) it gives new upgrade tiers so not upgrading your
weapon is like not loading your gun you can git away hitting them with the butt-stock for awhile but by no means is it a good idea weapon upgrade (greater than sign) lvl, armor, shield upgrades, social life, sunlight ETC etc etc ....

"The game is a blast and just don't be upset the first time you die and loose lots of souls, I know I was really mad when it first happened to me but now I see that they are easily replaced".

    .

I lost 10, 000 on the Taurus Demon and I was frustrated.

    .

Then I lost 99 Humanity and 6, 000, 000 in the Tomb of the Giants and I deleted the character.

    .

Now I've lost 220 Humanity and maybe 2, 500, 000 Souls and I don't really care Trying to get started :D

    .

It is interesting how that goes.

If you just created the account, it can take a few days before the Rewards servers will recognize it. It generally takes about 96 hours for the servers to update with new information.

It's also a good idea to read item descriptions. Many clues on what to do or visit can be obtained by reading the item description of things you pick up. Talk to the NPC's you find till they start to repeat what they say to find out things. The game appears
to be harsh and not helpful to new players but a lot of help and information is already there you just have to read and interact with the NPC's that are in the game. Also being human will allow you to be invaded by in game NPC characters if they area boss
is still alive, and some of these NPC's can once defeated during the invasion help you during your game, or you can obtain their items (weapons, armor). The game is a blast and just don't be upset the first time you die and loose lots of souls, I know I was
really mad when it first happened to me but now I see that they are easily replaced. Also remember you can upgrade your weapons and armor which makes the game much easier, in fact I would say upgrading your gear is more of a priority than upgrading your level.
    Have fun...

Welcome to Dark Souls : )

    .

Following on from Red Point, you can put down a White Sign Soapstone to help others if you are Hollow OR Human, but you may only summon help (touch people's White Signs) if you are Human and you haven't defeated the area boss (otherwise, why would you need
help?). Also, being invaded is when another player uses a method of invading and jumps into your game to kill you :p

    .

You get your potions refilled when you rest or respawn at a bonfire, and you can Kindle them when you are Human for more potions whenever you rest at that one. Enemies also respawn when you rest at bonfires, which means you can't just rest and restock your
    way through the game.

    .

Be observant. If you die, try to understand why you died. Did you do something wrong or did they do something right? Remember you can block, attack, parry (but don't stress this too early) and roll during a battle with an enemy and it just takes some practice
(and probably a dew deaths) to get the hang of which one to do when. If you see an enemy pull their weapon back, take note of that and be prepared to react. Learn and understand and you'll probably do remarkably well early on.

    .

Be observant 2: explore areas. If a body (either an enemy you killed or a pre-existing item body) has an item on it (you'll see the idle blue flame above it) then it is worth grabbing, because you don't know what it is. If you pick a weapon, ring or a set
of armour off a pre-existing body, it is almost certainly unique and not able to be obtained without having found it. This makes it worth trying to figure out how to get something because items are very unique and distinct (unlike many other games) and the
harder it is to get, the better it is likely to be. If you explore areas and recover a weapon, item or ring early, or find a merchant or blacksmith, you've done yourself a massive favour.

    .

Try things. If you find or buy a weapon or some magic, don't just ignore it without using it. Like we've already covered, things are unique and you may get great results --or love using-- something you may not have expected. A weapon swing differently to
what you're used to? Perhaps it's quicker, or perhaps it hits much harder and keeps enemies stunned. Remember to check what each weapon can do: RB, RT, rolling RB and the two-handed versions... so on.

    .

Lastly, and most importantly, don't rage. Be patient and learn. Accept that dying will happen and as long as you learn from it and don't immediately repeat it --along with not letting it get to you-- then you'll again be a whole lot better off than many
others. If you get angry, you're only going to do worse, which means you're only going to get angrier... : )

    .

    Have fun : ) It's a fantastic game.

Thank you so much guys. I'm only in the Undead Burg, and have died more than a few times. :) This game is awesome. I love how you have to pay attention and learn from your mistakes.
