Trying to get NAT type "open" for two Xboxes hardlined to ATT BGW320-505 Gateway

By default if you connect an Xbox One to ATT Gateway (BGW320-505) it will have NAT type "strict" (which is not great - https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/connect-network/xbox-one-nat-error)

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

    "opening ports" or "port forwarding."

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...xbox-one-94d5f68a-387c-1982-7163-6e12a4d9e981

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

I've set up each Xbox to it's own unique:

    - Static IP address

    - Port Forwarding TCP/UDP port number

I don't know how to do this with the ATT gateway's configuration GUI.

I managed to achieve configuring the desired effect with a NETGEAR Nighthawk router (each Xbox had NAT type open through a bunch of config changes) but I'm lost with this ATT Gateway GUI.

    :)

Trying to get NAT type "open" for two Xboxes hardlined to ATT BGW320-505 Gateway

If anyone comes here for the same reason, here is the solution I arrived at.

I set each xbox to have a dynamic IP address (I formerly had them manually set, I removed that)

Screen shots of Gateway GUI below.

Step 1, set up a service for each port number shown. Step 2, assign created services to whichever Xbox. Also throw in COD pre-made service for good measure. My xboxes have custom names `SMURF1` and `XBOXONE`, Those dumb names I threw onto them a long time ago. Xbox default device names look different than that.

    HELP PLEASE...!!! double nat issues

Hardwired the Xbox directly to the ATT "gateway" and it still shows strict NAT. I got the ports forwarded through my Orbi's setup and my xbox shows "Open nat" until i perform a nat test and it goes straight back to strict/double NAT. I have tried to go
through the ATT's gaming/nat setup and forwarded the same ports as well with the same result. After resetting the Xbox it goes to open but if i perform any tests especially nat test... right back to strict/double. This happens both wireless and wired to
either the Orbi, or the ATT paperweight =-(

To clarify a little on the gateway side as well... As far as i can tell its is bridged but then this ATT has so many settings inside of it who knows. I have shut down the ATT box's wifi bands totally and did the " IP Passthrough" in order to use my Orbi
system as the primary routing setup for the house.
Could you connect your PC/Mac directly to your AT&T and find out what IP your client get assigned.

On a Windows machine: Bring up the command prompt (cmd) and type "ipconfig" (without quotes).

On a Mac: Bring up terminal window and type "ifconfig" (...).

Post up the first two octets of your IPv4 address. For example, 192.168.xxx.xxx. Remember, only the first two octets.

    IPV4 and IPV6 Open NAT

since you have ATT, ATT hardly supports OPEN NAT Type and would also not support UPnP. You'll need to change over to a different ISP to get those features that the console requires to get a great connection to Xbox live servers!
