    Trying to fix xbox after update broke it


    Hey can anyone help me - im trying to fix my xbox 1x, and insider update broke it.

    Current OS: 19041.1999.amd64fre.vb_release_xbox_dev_2005.200506-0000

    Getting system error E2XX, E101 - its gets to part 3 of the update and crashes, says something went wrong.

    Factory reset the system, try'd the offline update, nothing. It keeps trying to load up the OSU1 from the flash drive, gets to 1% then stops and says something went wrong E101.

    Yesterday I took it apart and tested the HD which failed so I bought a new one and installed it. Weird thing is the xbox booted at the exact spot the the update kept failing at.

    Where does the xbox actually boot from? where does the update process exist on the xbox's hardware, is there anyway to clear that out and have the xbox boot fresh? Each time I start the xbox with the new HD, it starts right where the update left off.



    Note - I am out of warranty and I'm not spending 250 bucks to have it fixed when the series X comes out in a few months, I want to do it myself and just need a little help. Any input as to what steps i can take next would be a great help.

    Constant disconnections to Xbox Live

    Having the same issue after update. Seems update broke Xbox Live. I was trying to download a DLC from there and it had only progressed 1% in like 2 hours, and Xbox Live was disconnected again. Didn't have this problem before the latest updates.
