Trying to fix my REP

I was talking to a helpful person on the customer service by the name of JOYCE, who suggested to come on here and ask... What can you do to fix your REP? a few years ago I had an issue with the younger kids, mainly the fowl mouthed ones that liked to antagonize
and make vulgar comments both in game and in messages... and then when friends would come over and play, lets say something like CALL OF DUTY, they would feed into those same children and now I have a low REP from trash talk and un sporting, even though I
am neither, is their any way to fix your REP? or should I just not worry about it, I don't like the idea of possibly not being paired in some games because of my REP.

You can obviously get better REP when other players submit positive player feedback about you.

I wouldn't worry too much about low REP though on things like trash talk and unsporting because only you can see the feedback other players gave you.

As far as I know, only the way players submitted player feedback (whether positive or negative), not your REP, and your skill affect who you are paired with. Positive tries to match with you again, negative tries to avoid pairing with you again (though you
might still be matched with the player again).

 

Hi there I agree vacantsouls ur a great example to all ambassadors and love the answer which is totally true

U don't need to worry about ur rep as and if u try to stay calm and Not talk back just mute anyone that is trying to get attention from others .

The best thing is keep calm and enjoy the game and be friendly of course people avoid people cause they are better then others.

Just don't worry about your rep !

And keep on having fun that's what counts

 

The best way of Earning Rep is being Nice to members of the Xbox LIVE Community and not being aggressive and making people mad on the game also do not use much offensive language in front of people you do not know as it will send your rep down for trash
talk, and also do not leave the game early as it will be added to your rep aswell, but if you want a good Reputation just keep the standards of your language to non Offensive words, But honestly in my opinion you do not need to worry about your rep no one
takes any notice to be honest.

 

Your reputation will never (or barely) effect the way you matchmake with other users. Xbox has that so that possibility of you being with the same player would have a lesser chance, but if you and him were the last two players playing that game you both
will still be put together. Really you don't have anything to worry about.

From my experience, playing any major game or just basically kicking butt will have users give you a bad rep. I hardly ever use my mic unless I am with a friend(in a party only) , and I have reviews saying that I trashed talk or had a disruptive voice.
It still paired me with familiar gamertags, and I have a BAD rep.

You generally cannot fix your rep. Unlike the other suggestions, playing almost any online game will result in somebody avoiding you for the most ridiculous reasons other than the intended
use. This doesn't mean to go out and try to be "unsupporting" or "aggressive", but that the reputation does not reflect your gamer profile as much as expected.

 

well if they dont fix my rep i might go tp ps4 cause people report people for no reason and i'm tired of it on xbox period they need to get rid of that rep thing its crap i'm not trying to be rude its just how i feel about this rep thing

 

Sorry but rep doesn't mean much on xbox live as people have stated people will give bad rep for the littlest reason and that doesn't mean you have to migrate to ps4.

Just stick with xbox and i'm sure it will get better in time

 

I'm 60% avoided the last time I checked, and it means nothing. People give bad rep if you beat them in a game. Its a broken system that means absolutely nothing. Don't worry about it.
