    As the title says, for some reason my Xbox1 won't let me send any messages. I checked the enforcement page and it says my account is perfect. I spoke to an ambassador about this and he said my account must be banned? yet my Xbox 360 can still send messages???

    I only tried to set up the message function today with the code thingy but I keep getting a prompt saying "due to past behavour......" I'm not sure how I can be banned as I never use an open mic and have never sent a message from my now one year old Xbox1.

    any help with this would be great

    Enforcement ban

    Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this. I have recently been banned from playing online multiplayer games. I'm trying to find out what my account was banned for. On Thursday I received a suspension for messaging some toxic players. But on Saturday
    November 11 my account was banned until the 25th. I was out of town visiting family. While out of town I did not play on my account. My roommate may have this I'm not sure of. I want to know if I was reported and why.

    There are two types of suspensions

    1. Account level- no matter what console the profile is signed into those privileges are taken away.

    2. Console level- no matter what profile is signed into the console those privileges have been taken away.

    You say you can sign in on the 360 and send messages if its the same account then its not an account level suspension.

    The best way to figure out if its a console level is to try a different profile on your console and if your getting the same message then it would be a console level suspension.

    My mates account can send msg's from my xbox1.

    So what suspension do I have? My account can send msg from 360 but not 1. And msg's can be sent from the 1 but not from my account due to "past behavior" yet the enforcement page says my account is perfect???

    Same Gamer tag on the 360 and the One? If not then 2 different accounts and you would want to make sure that your signing into the correct account on the enforcement teams webpage.

    if you sign in with the account thats on the One at the enforcement teams webpage you should see an orange hammer on the main page that when clicked on will show you that profiles enforcement history.

    thats all it says....... due to past behavior. i even logged in via PC and it still came up the same. never got a msg saying anything about suspensions or anything.....

    its been like it for months, i had been added to a group but am unable to remove myself or delete that group chat, thats why i added my number n got the code. even after getting the code i get the same msg???

    all good, im over it now cheers for explaining the types of suspension steeledwand
