Trying to figure out why I can't remove my credit card/ where it is linked

I got an xbox recently and when I went to buy live, I saw credit card information was already on it. I bought a year of gold (but no recurring subscription) and tried to then delete my card (not sure why it showed up in the first place) but it wouldn't let
me.

I made an azure account a few years ago so I contacted support thinking that may the issue, but I am not getting anywhere with them (I'm not sure we understand each other to be honest) and I don't have any subscription IDs. I have no idea why else my card
is linked with a service.

Can anyone help me out?
