Trying to download Halo5,and its taking all day

This is ridiculous. What is with the server? Can DL other updates fine and play multiplayer fine, yet this DL crawls slower then a snail.

I just bought a new xbox one and I'm trying to install Halo5. The download stopped at 14% and the error code is 0x87e00005 what can I do to solve the problem?

been trying to download since Christmas....it's taking its sweet looonnnggg time....Help

 

Are you running wired or wireless? If you're connected wireless try using an ethernet cable for the duration of the download to get faster speeds.

Also, please bear in mind that this is release day for the game and there are a lot of people downloading at the same time as you.

 

Along with if you background your downloads it slows down your download speed and you are talking about a 50gig download if you bought it digitally

Sounds like you're in the preview program. For future reference you should post issues to the preview forums. This is a known issue and is not downloading more than it should. The percentage is showing incorrectly. Let it finish downloading.

 

I pre-ordered halo 5 digitally and it has taken too long. when it downloaded I was unable to connect on to the servers and I had to delete the game just to wait another two days to play it even though I pre-ordered it.
