Trying to connect to multiplayer on Astroneer for xbox for pc

I'm trying to join multiplayeer for astroneer on xbox for pc. Both games are originating from the same house and can both play single player at the same time. The message when I try to join mulitplayer is "the connection to the host has been lost"

I have power cycled my router with uPNP off and then back on. I can play other games in multiplayer with each other. Tested this using totally accurate battle simulator via xbox for pc to confirm that the network is working.

Please advise.

Just to cover the possibility, did you tried connecting the devices to a completely different wifi network?
For example share mobile data and connect both devices to that network and test.

And please tell me what’s saying next to / below NAT type for each device:
Open the Xbox console companion app > go to settings > network

Unfortunately i have no idea if it was working earlier, because i never tried multiplayer in Astroneer before.

im trying to play astroneer on xbox with my friend but It gives cant connect to host error in windows 10 you fix it by using the xbox networking tab but there isnt a article that helps about in windows 11
