Trying to connect to a certain friend on Xbox 360

Hello everyone I have a xbox 360 slim elite and have been experience many issues when it comes to connecting to a certain friend. I dont know what to do. Before when this happened it was because I had my NAT moderate, but as of late even though my NAT is
open I've been having hit or miss party chat attempts with my friend. Occasionally when i would run the test network connection I would get the service alert error on matchmaking but it has gone away yet I've still not been able to connect to my friend except
on a few occasions. I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help a fellow gamer out.

If it helps I have a modem/router combination. My internet provider is Time Warner Cable. My router is a Linksys N600 Wifi Router.

During my latest Network connection test I checked the error status report it said

W:0000-000B

I can't connect to one of my wireless networks but can with others why?

There's a variety of reasons why an Xbox 360 wouldn't connect to a certain wireless access point.

What kind of router/gateway/modem are you trying to connect to?

Cannot connect to a certain friend

I'd suggest you or your friends NAT type isn't allowing the connection.

Are both of your routers set up correctly?

Hmm. And you are 100% sure you are the one at fault? For a lot of people who disconnect randomly the simple solution to this problem is to delete your account from the hard drive and recover it. Otherwise, this seems like a question that needs to be asked
to your network provider.

where are your friends located compared to you? if it only happens with a certain friend then it could well be that they have a bad connection and its affecting you as its trying to put more bandwidth to make the connection to them better

OK no answers cool, sorry....I am just a little upset! I just drove across town to re check all the port on his router.....they are open, is NAT is open.....so than I went back home and connected directly to the internet without a router....no luck still.....so
I drove back to his house to do the same, I got back home and sent a party invite still nothing. Please for the love of god DO NOT put a guide on here on how to open NAT lol....seriously though. I am sick of this, and I am sure a lot of other people are as
well, it DID NOT used to be like this!
