Trying to connect 360 with wireless adapter. 360 sees network, I have entered Security key it is in test mode. the green dots are flashing between 360 and the router and have been for over a hour. no error codes. is this normal?

If you have black adapter with two antennae (wireless N adapter) flashing green light this means the adapter is trying continuously to connect to a wireless network.

In case of flashing red light the adapter might be damaged and you should order a new adapter from the Xbox Online Service Center

No this is not normal. Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Make sure that your router is running correctly.

2. Make sure that the router is not too far away. If you only have one bar it may screw up your connecton.

3. Make sure that your adapter is attached correctly.
