Trying to claim Games with Gold 360 game results in: This offer is not valid in your region.

By all accounts, I should now be able to claim Games With Gold Xbox 360 games, to play on my Xbox one. By visiting Games with Gold | Xbox Live from a PC and the claiming
the game as you would for the Xbox One.

However, when I try to claim Dungeon Siege III I get this error: This offer is not valid in your region. I also had the same problem with Dirt 3 earlier in the month.

Yes, I did check that my region matches the region of the Xbox live store page, and the same store page works fine for the Xbox One games.

Games with Gold- Hitman: Blood Money region locked Canada?

I was trying to collect my games with gold, and when I click on Hitman, the popup says:
Sorry This offer is not valid in your region. What is going on, why am I getting this now? I've never encountered this issue before.

 

Unable to download 360 games

Your account region should match your country region to download the xbox 360 game. Also you need a valid method of payment linked to your account in order to claim xbox 360 bc games

 

What region is your account and what region do you live in?

 

I am getting the same message, where do i look for my console and account regions?

 

Console region does not matter it's your actual region that needs to be identified

If a us foreign base or terrority they count as the host countries location's not the us

Your country has to match your account region

So not Europe or north America or a us base

 

Ive recently moved to ireland but i lived in brazil before, i am afraid of losing any digital title when i change my location, do you think it might happen?

 

Region locked content doesn't transfer between regions that being said if you don't migrate it will prevent you from getting future region locked content

Your only option would be to make sure you don't delete the old content and then migrate than download future content for your hearts content

A friend with the same region settings has no trouble getting the 360 games

 

Your account region and actual region is what you need to check this is found at commerce.Microsoft.com not on your console

 

It should also be noted you have to change the Web marketplace locale

I spent an hour chatting to a support consultant with no luck. According to them the issue is that the game I am trying to claim (Dungeon Siege 3) is not actually available in my region, never-mind that the store page for my region does list it, and a friend
of mine in the same region has been able to claim the game.

And that doesn't cover Dirt 3 from the beginning of November that also gave the same error, and the 4 other games I tried before that.

I have basically given up.
