Discus and support trying to change method of payment in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have been trying to change the method of payment and it keeps me going over and over to the same starting point and never allowing me to change it....     I have been trying to change the method of payment and it keeps me going over and over to the same starting point and never allowing me to change it. This is so frustrating because they informed me to change my payment method and yet it won't allow me
    to do it. You have to have an easier way.

    Suspended for what?

    That usually happens if there's a pending balance on the account. It won't let you change the primary payment method.

    However, you can try adding a new payment method, then go to billing.microsoft.com and perform a service transfer. This will migrate all services associated with the first payment method to the one you just added. It also effectively cancels the old payment
    method.

    This is the exact same problem I'm having. For some reason my subscription was put on hold because of some issue with my card. When I go to update the information (Even though nothing has actually changed) the card isn't even listed so I can't change anything.
    It asks me to add a new one, but this is the only one I have and it says it's already been added. I can't seem to even cancel the subscription and start over either. I'm at a loss. Hopefully someone knows whats going on.

    "Hi seems to be a common issue at the moment and one which has affected me; I could not buy anything online or on console event though all methods valid and enough funds etc.

    After contacting support here:

    It turns out the issue relates to a risk block where by if you buy numerous items in a short time scale or have suddenly bought something after a long break then the system automatically lock your account to prevent fraud.

    To remove the lock please contact support as above and explain the issue.

    Be aware it took 5 days for a resolution so please be patient."

    Hi SueTornay,

    You can go to microsoft.com and log into your xbox account. In the top right corner after you are logged in click your profile picture and go to "microsoft account" directly under your name you should see a section that says "update payment type" or "billing
    and subscriptions" then should allow you to choose what credit card you want your subscription to be billed to.

    Or you can go here and log in to get the same result:
