Trying to cancel a monthly gold subscription.

For 3 days now I have been trying to remove a credit card from my account, and for 3 days Microsoft wont send me the verification code needed to access my account info where I am supposed to go to remove it. This is a joke already, a multi million dollar
"corporation" and there are this many flaws and running in circles just to remove my card from my account? Microsoft needs to get their heads outta their *** and address these small issues. Definitely going with ps4 this year as this is not the first problem
I've had with live service. I am not dealing with bs like this for another few years.

Monthly subscription cancel is not working

Hi , I'm trying to cancel my monthly subscription for gold membership but with no luck. each time I do cancel subscription it keeps deducting from my credit card. I need to cancel the monthly subscription and to refund the deducted 3 months.

How on earth can you cancel auto renewal???

I have 12 months subscription now but I am going round in circles trying to cancel the monthly auto renewal for X Box Gold Live. Can someone please help???

You can't remove a card while it's attached to an active gold subscription anyway. If you're having issues with the website you will need to contact support directly to speak to billing and they can fix it for you. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada

Exactly why I was trying to cancel the monthly subscription...

I dont have access to a phone at the moment or I would have called (Had this exact problem another time and had to phone it in as well)

Microsoft discontinued the 12-month subscriptions for Gold a couple of years ago. Anyone who did not cancel their subscription or upgrade to Ultimate, would be grandfathered into the 12-month subscription. Once cancelled, there is no way to go back to that.

The monthly price for Core will be the same as the currently monthly price for Gold. But again, as the 12 months subscriptions were terminated years ago, there is no equivalent price for that through Xbox.

It states that you receive $1 for one month, not monthly. You can
cancel auto-renewal so you don't get billed that $9.99.
