Trying to buy game that xbox thinks I own.

If you own a Xbox One and don't buy this game I think your Xbox should be forcibly removed from your home.

I think thats a little over kill some people will buy the xbox i think the type of people who buy maybe one game a year and dont car about restrictions. I dont buy pre owned but i do trade in a lot but then if I could not trade in I would nlt buy many new
games.

I suggest to also check via https://account.microsoft.com/services page to double check if you somehow have any pending or past due subscription. If there is, kindly try to cancel it first by clicking on Manage > Cancel. Then try to buy the subscription again.

I always download the games on my home Xbox so others can play. I think it is better this way. Have you tried to download the games from Game Pass on the account that owns it and then try to play it on the other account?

About the Live Gold subscription, as soon as the person that owns it makes an Xbox his/her home console, it should already start to share it with anyone else that signs in on this Xbox.

Do you or your friend receive any error when trying to game share? Like a game asking to be purchased or asking you to buy Game Pass?
