    Trying to buy a game with pre-paid credit


    Hello,

    I purchased pre-paid credit and redeemed it on my Xbox One

    It wouldn't let me purchase a game with it so I tried to contact support but they've want a code they've sent a code to a mobile phone that was cut off today (as I upgraded and have a new number).

    I updated my number but I have to wait a MONTH for that 'security measure' to be in place to be able to even contact the support team ?

    It won't even let me switch to making a payment with my bank card as opposed to the credit I've added to my account !

    i do not have a credit card ,,

    Yes buy pre-paid cards from a game shop or similar retailer.

    There are two types,xbox credits and gold membership cards, be sure you get the right one.

    Pre-paid card credits can not be used to buy gold time.

    Ni you can contact support however what type of game is it

    If it's a bc title then no currency doesn't work unless you have a credit card or a Xbox 360

    And support cannot do anything about it

    Xbix one and the website don't use currency for bc titles or 360 games

    I do have a debit card as a payment method but it doesn't let me select that as a payment method ?

    I'm in the UK ? I can't buy it on Microsofts site either as my security information is in the process of updating ?

    Not sure why it's so difficult for me to purchase a game !
