Trying to buy a Game. Wants Profile Address - but only gives me US Address Option

I also have a similar problem. My profile is currently attached to my fathers email address. I want my profile to be attached to my email address instead. I have tried all of the steps to transfer the account but it just gives me an obscure error code that
tells me to wait 24 hours and try again.

My fathers email address is an @msn.com email address. Why is this happening???????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion Ricardo. Unfortunately a no go. It’s not giving me a list of address to choose from (even though I’ve now only got the one correct one - thanks for that) I’ve only got the option to add a new address that takes me to the error page. Live chat didn’t get me very far though I might give it another try in the morning.

The gift card is working and has been loaded into the Microsoft account. It shows up as canadian funds as I'm in Canada.

She is in minecraft and wants to buy a world (minecraft windows). It takes us to her microsoft login and it asks her profile address. It doesn't allow me to enter it there, only usa addresses. And if I hit "next" instead it takes us to the same page.

Even though US territories are part of the US when filling out address information like that on these websites and it asks for a country the name of the territory will be in that part that you would pick.

I'm sorry to not include that I'm having the problem on the xbox itself? I've changed the address fine on the Microsoft website but if I go into the settings, It only shows major countries, and if I choose the United States and try to add my address, it
only gives me the 50 states and no other option?

Hi Ridrigo,thank you fir response. I only have one email address and don't really want another. I tried to use this method on the xbox but it only comes up with the later profile. My son says I must have used a different password for the old profile but I can't remember it. If I go to password recovery it gives me the new profile again. I trying to access gamertag PZeronero68.
