    Trying to Add a New Payment Method


    Alright so all I want to do is make it easy for me to make online purchase but this new xbox one will not let me. I have tried to add 1 debt and 1 credit card which both are currently active and I use every day. Everytime it tries to add the card it gives
    me an error "pbr9002" which basically says "this one does not work, try contacting your bank". Also I have tried 2 different paypal accounts, both of which have money in the account and will not work either. The thing that get me is when I put my card/paypal
    info into the system I am just trying to add that payment method to my account, not purchase anything at that time.

    I have also called up xbox live and they had me do a hard reset, which didn't work and then just told me to contact my bank. There is no reason not one of the 4 cards/accounts can not work. I really do not want to keep having to go out and purchase the
    stupid xbox cards everytime I want to give xbox my money.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    i have active card, and already trying 4 or 5 times to remove and add again on site(even trying to add paypal on my xbox)... ok, i try again, remove payment method and wait some time before adding new payment method on site!

    i am trying to add paypal to my payment methods but evry time i try it just seems to make a new paypal account

    Hey!

    Have you tried to add your new payment method online or only through the console? If you've only tried it on the console, try adding your payment method through Xbox.com using the following steps:

    1. In a browser on an Internet-connected device, go to My Account.
    2. If prompted, sign in using your Microsoft account.
    3. Select Payment & Billing
    4. Scroll down and select either, Add a Credit Card or Add PayPal
    5. Follow the prompts to set up your credit card or your PayPal account as a new payment option.

    My apologies, I have to amend my above post. That's what I get for posting at 5am I suppose. Trying to Add a New Payment Method :p

    "Add PayPal" is on the left of the Payment & Billing page, not the bottom.

    To add a credit/debit card instead, click "Manage Payment Options" and then "Add Credit Card." That one is at the bottom. Trying to Add a New Payment Method :p

    Trouble processing payment and we'd like to get it sorted out

    Try logging into account.microsoft.com and check your payment methods on there. Remove and re-add your card to see if it fixes the issue. If you must, use a different payment method or add a new payment method.

    Try the steps below to transfer the balance to your new credit card. If that doesn't work you can contact Xbox support by phone and they can transfer the balance for you.

    To transfer your services and balances to a new payment method, follow these steps:

    Sign in to the Billing and Account Management website.https://billing.microsoft.com

    Under Your payment methods, click the payment method you want to change.

    Under Payment method activity, click Go to payment method information.

    Under Payment method information for this account, click Use a different payment method.

    Click Add new credit card, and then click Next.

    Click Add new Direct Debit, and then click Next.

    On the Confirm transfer page, confirm the balances and services you want to transfer, and then click Next.

    Enter the information for the new payment method, and then click Save.
