So while trying to redeem a 6 month gold membership prepaid code on my console, I get this error that says "Try that again - Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help." anybody had that issue? I really don't know what do to, please help, I
tried everything..hard reset, typing the code thru the xbox app, website and still gives me the same error, also been noticing a lot of people having the same problem just recently.

Log into account.microsoft.com and go to the services and subscriptions tab. Check to see if you have an outstanding balance there listed in red. If you do, you will need to pay the balance before purchasing XBL or adding a code. Also be sure there are no
expired payment methods on the account.

If neither of those are the case try contacting billing support at support.xbox.com/contact-us

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! Just to clarify, how are you trying to upgrade to Game Pass ultimate subscription? Are you doing so from your console, or are you using a Laptop or Desktop? I would suggest trying to

Contact Support for further assistance, just so they can check your account to see that everything is in order as far as Billing info and that there are no discrepencies on the account.

Try this:

Log into Support.Xbox.com
Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
Step 1: Click on Ask a Question
Step 2 : Select your Product
Step 3 : Select your Issue
- Select – Call me back

same issue, been trying to use a credit card instead of a live card from the store.. this is the first time this has happened.. hopefully we get a answer soon. Ive also been on the support chat and phone for over 20 mins.
