"Try that again" after redeeming gold code.

I have a 12 month Xbox live gold code that everytime I try to redeem it I get a "Try that again" error. The picture is the most recent time I've tried. I've attempted to use the code on my Xbox, the app, and the website and it doesn't work for any. I do
have home Xbox sharing with a friend and it seems I am using his gold due to it. The only problem is Xbox is acting as if I don't have gold Games with Gold and sales wise. Is there a way while still Xbox sharing to redeem this code? It acknowledges that it
is a 12 month code so it's not that it was already redeemed.

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Halo 5 gold trial didnt work

i bought halo5 last night and today i redeemed the code for the 14 day trial after redeeming it. Hours after redeeming i still havent received it and when i try to do it again its alreadyy been redeemed i would really like to receive the 14 day trial i redeemede.
And no i did not have a gold membership.

Log into account.microsoft.com and check the subscriptions tab to see if you have an outstanding balance listed on the account in red. Also be sure that you have no expired payment methods on the account.

If neither of those are the issue try contacting billing support at support.xbox.com/contact-us

There aren't actually 2 coded, but only one. After i've filled the code in the redeem code section, a message appeared telling me that i am entitled to download also the corbulo emblem...after the download was done,nothing else happened. I was back in the
menu with no message regarding the account status. I checked the account status several times since then and i am still silver user with no access to gold options. When trying to use the same code again, i am told that the code was already redeemed, so i can't
use it again. Maybe clearing the cache and trying again is another solution. I've heard it worked for issues with games' redeem codes
