    Ive tried playing Forza Horizon 4, Warframe, Human Fall Flat, Minecraft and Fortnite and all have had same issue. I even decided to go offline and try to play games that way but it says i need to set my xbox to profiles home xbox. Which it is.

    I understand your concern and frustration in this case. I would like to let you guys know that Microsoft isn't 'pulling' away your game. It's just a momentarily service issue which tends to be resolved
    within the next few hours. We ask for you guys to be patient with this process as our engineers are already looking into this issue.

    So, sometime in the next few hours ill be able to use my xbox? I do have the same question as a few of the others.. how is it this affects aome xbox users but not others? Is there a way to ensure you arent affected in the future? Is there a problem with
    users from a specific area, ISP provider, age of equipment, etc? This is a very frustrating scenario for everyone but the limited information and fact that some users are able to play but not others is the most frustrating thing.

    The fact that I’ve tried for two hours

    to play a game that I own is extremely annoying. Im tired of paying money for a service that works good some times. I work for a tech company who has probably one percent of the amount of texhs they have and things dont take this long to address. MS makes
    billions of dollars from us and we deserve answers to these problems. Not a quick fix and have the same problems two months from now. Get things fixed MS or people like me are done with you’re

    Thanks so much for your swift reply. Indeed you will be able to use your console in the next few hours. To answer your question on how come it affects only some users, is that Xbox Users connect to our services through multiple servers. So it isn't just
    one big server, that all of you guys connect to.

    For example: your sibling has their own separate Xbox but same household as you, yet still connects to a different server. Being in the same location doesn't mean you guys will have the same affect as it is different servers that we have.

    It isn't something directed to certain ISP or region basically when things like this happen its unexpected for you guys and us.

    We can usually see signs of upcoming issues and we try to resolve before it becomes big, but sometimes things like this can't be avoided and things happen. Our team tries to get things sorted out as soon as possible, but sometimes unfortunately it does take
    a few hours to get it going.

    Thanks Leslie! This helps ease the pain a little. Its still inconvenient and frustrating, but i too work for a tech company (one of the largest ISPs) and know that stuff happens... I hope theyre able to figure it out before too long. So is it is a server
    issue or an IP conflict? If its a server issue, are they not able to migrate us users to other servers? Are we always confined to the same server access?

    Absolutely unacceptable, I can understand servers going down, but that fact I cant play a game AT ALL, is infuriating. They won't even launch, even disconnected they won't launch.

    Why?! Why have a system where something like this can happen?

    Oh, because Microsoft is a greedy corporation, and God forbid something happens and they lose a bit of money. So they put all these ridiculous measures in to make sure no one plays a game they haven't bought. Idiotic and greedy, to go so far to make it to where
    if your servers go down, no one plays anything, because you can't "Verify" that purchase.

    Xbox is worthless right now, literally a hunk of plastic just sitting there eating electricity.

    Leslie, I understand that you're only doing your job, but even you have to admit that this is a little [Mod Removed - Profanity]. I purchased the game, played it on multiple occasions, and then all of the sudden my console decides that I no longer have
    clearance to use the software I've purchased. I have to agree with many other posters on here when I say that if we are paying for an online service, an absolute shutdown of playability is unacceptable. Steam has never had this issue to the best of my knowledge,
    and I don't even pay for online. Now I've missed my window to play my video game because of an issue that shouldn't have existed, and I have to get ready for work tomorrow. Well done.
