Try a different clip error (0x80040212)

Just updated the most recent update, I don't know if the update had something to do with it or not, but i'm not able to look at my clips in Upload because I get that error.

Because I get this error, I'm not able to save any clips in Upload Studio. Gives me another error ( Different code)

Ive power cycled, reset internet, signed in, signed out Did the MAC address thing too ! Any help?

Same here. It was letting me upload videos, but once I got to ones that where at least 3 weeks old it no longer let me and I kept getting the following error message: Try a different game clip (That one was deleted or never published. (0x80040212)) It won't
even let me watch them.

 

No audio on recorded clips.

Yes. I have tried to record 10 clips since the recent updated and all of them give me the message. "Try a different game clip. That one was deleted or never published. (0x80040212). It's pretty lame...

 

Me and some friends are also getting the same errors. 3 things I've noticed: 1. The clips don't show up in smart glass. 2. the clips don't have the title of the game on them,just your gamertag, and 3. When you hit start on the clip it doesn't give you
the option to save.

I looked up the error and apparently this happened to a lot of people back during the April update. I don't think it's a coincidence that it happened after this update. It doesn't look like Microsoft ever game out with a solution unfortunately :/ Sucks
because we got a ton of BF:H clips for our montage

 

Same here, it was working 2 days ago, now I keep getting this error and can't watch any clipd after the update. Microsoft I'm a pretty patient person but it's been a long time since the launch and this is a feature that was promised to work since launch.
My patients is running out especially since all I see on these post is " we will get back to you our team is investigating the problem." FIX IT NOW PLEASE.

 

I've been getting the same error. All my clips recorded last night fine, and then when I tried to view them this morning they were giving me this error. However! If I view them from the notifications menu they work fine, but when I go into Upload and try
to view them individually or as a whole then it gives me this error. I recorded about 70 clips last night and if I lost every single one of them I am going to be SO upset. I feel like Microsoft is abandoning all of its loyal customers, I really had thoughts
of going to Playstation even though I've been with Xbox since it came out with the first one....Really upsetting the quality of this once great console.

 

Same for me, clips that I recorded before the update, I am able to edit in Upload Studio. Clips recorded after the update I can't. And the most recent clips aren't even viewable.

 

I've been doing some testing this morning. It seems I can record and upload clips from BF4 and Horizon 2 but not the BF: Hardline Beta.

Are the clips you guys are having trouble with also from the BF:H Beta?

Are there any other games you guys are having trouble recording clips from?

 

I'm having the same issue, but I just tried to record a clip from Far Cry 4 and it worked fine, so I guess it's just the bf:H beta?

 

I'm also getting the error on SOME of my Titanfall and GTAV clips, it started out after I did the most recent update.

 

Just wanted to update. after installing the FEB update is what caused this issue. On 2-10-15 I went to settings > Console > update and it had a small 256mb console update. I updated and it fixed this problem.

 

there is no update there available and its still not working

 

I'm apart of the xbox preview program, thats probably why I had a update.

 

After downloading the Upload Studio update today, I can edit and successfully upload the clips I wasn't able to earlier. I still can't play them in Upload, but after they are edited and uploaded from Studio, the edited ones will play

Thankfully I didn't lose all of these clips for good
