    Bought an Xbox One X direct from MS in November. In February the graphics card failed, leaving me looking at the top left hand corner of the page only. I raised a Service call and returned the unit for repair.

    Today, it finally came back to me. Same serial number, so I guess same unit. Excitedly, I opened it and plugged it in. Obviously it had been wiped, so I completed the set-up, and started to download my 2 favourite games. NOT a quick thing to do when
    I live in an area with fairly slow internet speeds. However, was just about to start playing when the SAME fault presented itself. The unit had NOT been fixed.

    I tried to immediately raise another service request and discovered that because the other one hasn't been closed yet, I couldn't!

    OK, I wasn't happy, so I figured I would contact someone and discuss how we were going to resolve this problem. That is impossible also. I have tried multiple times to get a call back and each time the support agent app says that it has failed to register
    the call request. (Tried via multiple browsers including Edge and IE, as well as the pop-out app)

    I have tried to get a response via Xbox twitter and messaging them. Oh no, that doesn't get a response either, at least not yet.

    So, the discussion I want to start is as follows. When it works, most Microsoft kit is actually pretty good. However, when it goes wrong are Microsoft the World's worst ever user experience from a support perspective?

    By the way, if anyone from Xbox support reads this, and wants to try and prove that you are not all worthless, fell free to reply. I would be quite surprised to find out that you actually exist!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. Xbox support absolutely exists. I do apologize for the inconvenience you are currently experiencing. From the sounds of the issue it does seem as though all troubleshooting options have
    been exhausted. I'm sure you've tried it on other TV's to see if the issue persists. If that is the case then you should look into

    Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced
    . Hope this helps.

    If it's out of warranty, that's pretty normal for any company to charge. Playstation does the same thing if you need to send it in after the warranty has ended.

    Yeah, that's a very handy and lame answer to pull out. I work in customer service. I have been able to get customers accommodated out of warranty for items costing many thousands of dollars. So again, to suggest that microsoft is not able or willing to
    take care of their customer who had an awful experience through no fault of their own is all I need to know to take my business elsewhere.

    I'm trying to caution others.
