    Truly awful customer service


    Xbox One X abruptly died due to a harder failure. I take incredibly good care of my things, so this is just a bad luck scenario, and Microsoft is only willing to take more of my money, because the $500 I paid for the system initially isn't enough. I've
    been with Xbox since the 1st system, had a few 360s, and I've had every model of the One.

    To suggest that Microsoft is unwilling to A. stand behind their product and take care of the customer or even B. pretend to care is a massive disappointment.

    I have already happily made up my mind to purchase a PS4 Pro tonight after work. I'm 35 with many years of gaming left and many more dollars to send, and Xbox will not be getting a SINGLE cent from me for the rest of my life.

    The Xbox One X is still, for the next 2-3 weeks, Xbox's most powerful console. Thats like saying its the most powerful car int h junkyard. Because all have is a paperweight.

    Incredibly not cool, and they've only succeeded in pushing away a loyal customer. Peace

    (even if they were to try and make it right now, I would sell whatever they gave me and just go with Playstation anyways on principle, it's very clear their customers mean noting to them)

    My question, right....why do people still buy their junk?

    If it's out of warranty, that's pretty normal for any company to charge. Playstation does the same thing if you need to send it in after the warranty has ended.

    Yeah, that's a very handy and lame answer to pull out. I work in customer service. I have been able to get customers accommodated out of warranty for items costing many thousands of dollars. So again, to suggest that microsoft is not able or willing to
    take care of their customer who had an awful experience through no fault of their own is all I need to know to take my business elsewhere.

    I'm trying to caution others.

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. Xbox support absolutely exists. I do apologize for the inconvenience you are currently experiencing. From the sounds of the issue it does seem as though all troubleshooting options have
    been exhausted. I'm sure you've tried it on other TV's to see if the issue persists. If that is the case then you should look into

    Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced
    . Hope this helps.
