I just received a Series X today. My youngest inherited my old Xbox one S, but now he can't play his games. The current system should be updated in my opinion. Not only will I have to purchase all of his favorite games again, but also have to pay for him to have gamepass. As well as my oldest. Maybe a different pay model for families like 25 a month for families, and the ability to share games within the family. But having to purchase 100's of dollars in games so everyone can play their respective games is rough.

No the developers will never support what you suggest thats called theft

They only allow 2 licenses one roaming and one home console

Any console that would allow unlimited sharing would be abandoned in doves by developers as devs would have their property stolen

The only way it would work is by ip

But using a vpn or proxy would make any console.connecting to the proxy to be able to download games you are talking about thousands if not millions of stolen copies

I think extended is wrong.

The true and first meaning of the account/game sharing was to a house share like 2 brothers with 2 consoles and for the parents doesnt need to buy 2 xbox live golds or 2 games. And not to people share with all their friends.

Doesnt mix the family settings with account sharing on Xbox, is not the same thing and not the same end.

The game share features is not intended to share games with friends but with your family (in the same house), using it in this way is against Terms of Service.

Family sharing was a joke. What good is it if you can't play the game at the same time. Family sharing = 1 console playing at a time. Not buy 1 game and have all 4 consoles in you house playing together. Are you going to wait 2 weeks for cousin Jim to beat
Halo5 so he can share it with you? Not me I want to play it ONLINE on the day of LAUNCH with my FAMILY. Not possible w/ family sharing. People are so uneducated.
