    But Xb1 isnt doing to bad, at the end of the day it is about 6 times more powerful than the Xbox 360, with alot of effeincet design. XB1 does have longevity. There is alot of potential Xb1 has.

    The xbox one is a worthy succsesor to the 360. and that all that really matters.

  2. But ya rippen as i said, the reason Xb1's chip is more expesive is because of embeded sram (thats quite pricey infact as sram and the embedding prosses are pretty exepnisive, way more so than putting in more gpu infact)

    and the fact xb1 has more silcon (as the apu is a tad bit bigger)

    That is why the Xbox one Cpu gpu combo costs a tad more. (not by much) it wasnt very cost effective but it was a good bandwidth patch job.

    anyhow night night. im honesty surprised im not banned lol

    oh and pS rippen dont say there is hidden parts inside the Xb1 Chip, the Xrays showed things clear as day, if there was any stacking (LOL) it would have shown up in the xray (as anomlies) and chipworks would have splashed the APU with acid to examine it
    further. That wasnt the case tho.

    wow your tech knowledge is lifted straight from the utter rubbish that has been written on Sonygaf, I was slightly amused at some of the things you have written but your grasp of hardware seems none existent. I stopped reading after you said Mantel.

    You forget the xbox cpu can handle 6 operations per cycle compared to 2 on the ps4, and the xbox is running at a faster clock speed.

    You also seem to not realise that Sony said they have to use CU to make up the shortfall in audio processing and more CU for the CPU shortfall.

    Plug the sony eye in and oh wait more CU's (microsoft have there own kinect hardware to do this so dont need to offload)

    Nobody knows the full details of the APU's only that Microsoft is fully customised and Sony went for in production parts.

    We will have to wait and see what happens.

    I could care less if the games are 1080p at 60fps. As long as they look good, 720P up, and are fun to play. I also like Kinect, use it all the time!

    respect that if you can respect not all of us are for that and have a right to our opinion without being scrutinized why.

    1st ill prove the ps4 gpu is in line with the r9 r7 seris.

    it is bleived mantle on the 7000 seris may offerd dimished returns, it has yet to be seen, all benchmarks have been done using r7 R9 cards that have sony and amd's 2013 gpgpu setup

  11. the rest of the stuff you posted makes me laugh. nothing but red harrings and miss info

    Sony went for "in production parts" because as soon as AMD saw what they were doing they were so impressed they started to co dev.

    Xbox one was locked out from seeing what was going on till it was too late, the minor upclocks to the cpu and gpu wont hold a candle to the sony and amd co deved tech in ps4, PS4 has its own audio block btw, Its called true audio DSP, its in the r9 seris
    as well as the 8 ACE cores,

    Xbox one only has 2 ACE CORES on the older much much slower gcn model. GPGPU is the reason we are seeing such huge performance diffrences in mgs5GZ and sony has a lot to do with their SDK yet, its going to be glorius having CPU + GPU + GPGPU <---- and the
    gpgpu wont be effecting general GPU performance like the older GCN arc does (that's in xbox one)

  12. but don't get me wrong, it is likely mantle will be supported well on the first gen GCN tech, it will undoubalby be more limited tho, Mantle on the r9 and r7 will be far far more intrusting as the API matures. The change between the 7000 8000 seris vs the
    R7 and R9 is a HUUUUUGE gap. GPGPU will play a part in xbox ones sdk, its needed for the lowend cpus, but sony's is a generation ahead and a HUGE MASSIVE step forward.

    At the end of the day its 2 ACE cores that can do simple stuff without effecting GPU perfomance, VS 8 ACE cores with dedicated memeory piplines and custom ques to allow it to do very complex things not effect genral gpu performance.

    Essentally both consoles custom API's will be MANTLE based, AMD, SONY and to a smaller extent MS will push GPGPU in the consoles SDK's

    "in bulk". High end GPUs like the ones on the GTX 780 are NOT the profit center for GPU makers. It's the mainstream and lower end parts that make the money. The high end parts make little profit.
    If you consider that "next
    gen" then you haven't been paying attention to PC gaming. Next gen on the PC is 4k gaming. Current gen is 2560x1600.
