Troubleshoot Child can't purchase content

I signed my sister under my family, and I'm trying to get her a 1 month trial on xbox, but when I go to get the month it says that this account is blocked from purchasing content. So then I go on my xbox and change the settings. So it allows her to purchase
stuff, but even still it will not allow her to purchase anything. My account is used as the parent acc as it is under my parents name and email.

Hi Xgoan,

There are two main reasons to why there may be difficulties purchasing Xbox 360 Backwards compatible content for your Xbox One.

1) If you're trying to purchase the content with your Microsoft Account Credit it would only allow you to do so from an Xbox 360.

2) If the account is a 'Child' account it would also block certain 360 content purchases to process out.

Hey EmeraldianKing! Sorry to hear that you're running in to this issue! Generally, this error is displayed when the purchase is attempted with a child account. In order to purchase content from the Avatar store or other Xbox 360 items, you will need an adult

Do you mean demos and trailers? That would be why

Child accounts cannot download m rated demos or trials due to the international laws concerning ads

 

or to add RP (rating pending) content cannot be downloaded on a child account either.

 

No I mean purchasing Gold membership for the account and it won't let me.
